A Call to Action
We know that God can build this orphanage without anybody's help, but God usually uses willing vessels here on earth. Granted, God called Virginia because He knew she was a willing vessel, and that she was sincere in her repentance, but He certainly didn't mean that she should accomplish this great work alone. She needs your help.
Virginia always says, "God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things." Are you an ordinary person? Most of us are. The question is "Are you ready to hear the cry of the poor in a country that is half way around the world?" "Do you feel that God holds Americans accountable for the wealth that He has poured out on them?" Are you ready to make a sacrifice to give these children a chance to live a happy life? It is very easy to make a difference. When you give to this charity, you can count on the fact that every penny will be used to further the orphanage project. Virginia has two Boards, one in Kenya and the other in Massachusetts, who are watching carefully over your money -- making sure that your money goes to the orphanage and to no other place. You can be sure that every cent is going to make a huge difference in an orphan's life.
We here at An Orphan's Dream, Inc. know that God has laid it on our hearts to take care of His little ones who not only watched both parents die from AIDS, but now find themselves in the street eating garbage. The Scriptures admonish us: "If today you hear His voice, harden not your heart." May I be so bold, for the sake of God's children, to ask you to go to your desk and take out your checkbook?
