The farm at Oasis of Peace is important for many reasons. The children learn how to grow their own food and this skill can be used later in their lives. Also the food produced can be eaten by everyone at Oasis of Peace, reducing food costs. Also, many children will go off to university but others are not able to attend university due to the stringent testing requirements. These children will pursue technical training such that they will have a solid path for their career and their future. Many children are interested in farming for their a career and so farm projects prove essential in their training. Your donation of $200 will help to fund a farm project and we encourage you to give more than this by increasing the number of this item in your shopping cart.
