LEARN MORE ABOUT CHRISPIN:

Age: 14

School: Grade 9 at Ngenge High School

Special Talents and Interests: Soccer and farming

Past: Before coming to the Oasis, Chrispin lived with his mother who suffered from depression resulting in taking her life. Chrispin, unfortunately, found his mother, and it has drastically affected him mentally. Upon arrival, Chrispin suffered from depression leading him to avoid talking and smiling to others at the Oasis. An older boy named Trevor, who also goes by “Lucky,” took Chrispin under his wing which has lead Crispin to open up to others. Lucky taught Crispin how to play soccer which has now become one of Chrispin’s passions.

Present: Chrispin is very calm and highly observant of everything around him. Chrispin has adapted well to the Oasis and has been able to open up to and feel comfortable talking about his experiences with Caroline, An Orphans Dream staff member.

Future: Chrispin wants to study mechanical engineering after high school!
